Privacy Notice

Last updated: 19 August 2026

This notice explains what personal data giuliopasotti.com collects, why, and what rights you have over it, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR").

Who is responsible for your data

Giulio Pasotti, the operator of this website, is the data controller for any personal data submitted through it. Since this site intentionally does not publish a direct email address, please use the contact form on the homepage or reach out via LinkedIn for any privacy-related request.

What data is collected, and why

Contact form. If you choose to fill in and submit the enquiry form, the following is collected: your name, company, business email, phone number (optional), engagement type, expected start date (optional), and your message. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry — it is never used for marketing, sold, or shared with third parties beyond the form-delivery service below.

The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service that forwards your submission by email. Web3Forms does not display, sell, or otherwise use this data beyond delivering it. See Web3Forms' privacy policy.

Before a submission is accepted, a bot-detection check runs via hCaptcha (provided by Intuition Machines, Inc.), which may use cookies or device signals to distinguish humans from automated bots. See hCaptcha's privacy policy.

This site also uses Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate visit patterns (e.g. which pages are viewed, approximate country, referring site). Plausible is designed not to use cookies and not to collect any personally identifiable information — visits cannot be tied back to an individual. See Plausible's data policy.

How long data is kept

Contact-form submissions are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, and are deleted afterwards at the controller's discretion. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized from the point of collection and is not linked to any individual visitor.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. hCaptcha may set a functional cookie needed solely to verify a form submission is not automated. Plausible Analytics does not use cookies at all.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, get in touch via the contact form or LinkedIn.
